It wasn’t until recently in 2020, when I became very eager to publish the book and start the networks, that I began to wonder where did this book and ministry really originate? God began to show me that it was a setup by Him the whole time.
At three years old on Hill Street in Conway, SC, my sister and I would get down on the floor and pray to mecca with my father, as he raised up and down with his rear-end up in the air. That was funny to us, but we watched and participated.
Then years later watching my dad pray standing-up, I did not know then but as I reflect after 60 years of his family life, nothing major has ever happened to any of his children. All six of us are happy and healthy and accident-free. God has always protected us from harm and danger.
After Malcolm X Died my father ceased pushing us to accept a specific religion until coincidently six months after I was saved at twenty six years old He began following the Nation of Islam again. Praise God, I had just enough Word-Knowledge to Just say no to my father, who I had never disagreed with ever before on anything!
📷After I was saved, I remember sitting at my kitchen table with a gold english-standard bible and telling God “EITHER I AM GOING TO BELIEVE EVERY SINGLE WORD OF THIS BIBLE OR NONE OF IT AT ALL!”
AND THAT’S WHEN I BELIEVE HE REALLY STARTED WORKING OVER-TIME ON ME!
I developed an absolute love, passion and excitement for Studying, Praying and Praising Him!

I Joined Mason Temple Church of God in Christ and ran smack dead into what they call a Friday Night Prayer Shut-in with Mother Delma Wright and Sis. Mary Bessant!
Shut-in? What? All I knew about shut-ins at that time was the male and female strip-show shut-ins that I DJ’ed-for in the night clubs.
My First Experience with a Friday Night Prayer Shut-in 9:00pm to 4:00am!
📷Me, Sis. Mary Bessant, Mother Delma Wright, little Candace (then about 2 yrs old and Micaiah). The babies knew what to do and how to act and I felt so crazy and so out of place and sat wondering all night in that dimly-lit church, “what in the world am I doing here.” After six hours of sitting there, I left not feeling a thing, driving home still wondering what in the world was that? Why was I there?
But I kept-on going back, I attended just-about every Prayer Shut-in from 2000 to about 2012 and the most memorable shut-ins were those when Mother Delma Wright and I were the only two in the church at the end of the night and I still remember and can hear her walking up behind me and softly-saying, “Pull-on-Him- son” “Pull-on-Him-son” “Pull-on-Him-son.” I am sure she had no idea she was causing me to pull a multinational billion dollar ministry, school and network out of the Spirit/Jesus. Here HE IS Mother Wright, It took me twenty years to pull HIM Out! But Lord Jesus it’s oozing out now!
Serving as the Administrator and the Media director of my church exposed me to many national prayer warriors and the Women of the Church of God in Christ.
